The fall just got hotter in New York City. Carnegie Hall, known for its world class concerts, will host Alone Together At Last: Lena Dunham and David Sedaris on November 19th. Tickets go on sale soon for this sure-to-be entertaining evening of reading and conversation.
Dunham, creator and star of HBO’s series Girls, has enjoyed a meteoric rise since the show’s debut last year. In addition to a mega-book deal, she has won a Golden Globe and been nominated for seven Emmy Awards for her work on Girls.
Sedaris is one of New York’s most beloved humorists. For years, his books have been the must read on the subway — a hilarious way to make it through a tedious commute. I’ve written about my fondness for his work previously.
Now, seeing this duo on stage has tongues wagging in the Big Apple. For more information, visit Carnegie Hall’s website.
