Flashback: 10th Anniversary Show
On Saturday, October 6, 2018, Ted Greenberg’s The Complete Performer celebrated 10 years Off-Broadway at Soho Playhouse. The show boasts over 400 performances, 8 Mascots, multiple time slots and countless laughs. When it began in August 2008, no one had any idea that Ted would still drive lucky audience members home a decade later.
The anniversary show was one for the ages. Many in attendance have seen the show more times than they can count; a few were newbies. All had a great time as there were special Easter eggs and surprises for long-time fans and new ones too.
The post-show reception featured a delicious spread by Murray’s Cheese, the local purveyor, and cupcakes by the one-and-only Molly’s Cupcakes. It also gave audience members the chance to mix and mingle with Ted and Mascot Greenberg. This is the one show where Ted didn’t get behind the wheel. He stayed in the Huron Club, taking in the wonder of 10 years on stage in New York–a very rare feat.
Here are some of the fun photos from the night, featuring cast and crew alongside fervent fans, former Letterman co-writers and friends.
